Pregnancy Weeks 4-8
Month two 4-8 weeks (first trimester)
This is the month you will do your pregnancy test and be able to see a bfp. Yayy!!
Try to wait to test a day or two after your missed period because sometimes it can show negative but really you are pregnant.
This month your growing baby will form little buds that will grow into their precious arms and legs. Fingers and toes will begin to form in the second month and also their lovely eyes and ears. Their sensory organs begin to develop and their neural tube (brain, spinal cord, and other neural tissue of the central nervous system) is formed. Bone starts to replace cartilage and baby's head is a larger portion to the rest of his/hers body.
Around week 5-6 is when your precious baby's heart will begin to beat and can be detected by an ultrasound.
By the end of month two your baby is now a fetus, and is around the size of a gummy bear lolly or a snail, measuring about 2.5 cms
